    Wondering what the style # of this base might be?

    With the two knobs, I'm not thinking this is a B20 or B26. Any thoughts?s-l1600.jpg

    Interesting! I haven't seen one like that before. The B-20's I have seen have had a larger style lock and a single Kitchen cabinet style pull on the drawer. Measure the space between the two sides of the cabinet to determine whether it will fit a 20" box. That is the determining factor for the designation as a B-20.

    This could be an older version than the ones I am acquainted with. We need a little better picture of the label and the inside on the box.

    This is one of two I've seen on Ebay this past month. The description notes the base as "Outside 21W X 11-1/2D X 6-1/2”H. Top pocket to hold top boxes 20-3/8x10”.

    I Still have no idea, except that it is the size of a B-20 base and the decal on it was used from 1848 to 1954. https://sites.google.com/site/thegui...style-10-11-12

    Someone may have a picture and description of it in an early catalog or brochure. Perhaps Ted or Scott could weigh in on this one.

    I haven't gathered any data on Bases. Have you considered that it may be home-made with a foil nameplate from a machinist tool chest? Attached is a portion of a 1958 Gerstner brochure which included bases. Good luck......Ted

    Apologies to all. It's a B2101. I found it in the Second Class section of the Gerstner website. I should have looked harder to find it.

    If the dimensions of the B2101 (21-3/8"Wide x 7-1/4"Tall x11-5/8"Deep) don't match your base within 1/8", then yours isn't a B2101......Ted
